Alexander Joel
Conductor Alexander Joel is the new Music Director of the Staatstheater Braunschweig, where he will begin the season with premieres of La Bohème and Lohengrin. In 2007/08 he will also give his concert debut at the Staatskapelle Dresden, his debut at the Staatsoper Hamburg with Bohème, and has been reinvited to conduct Macbeth at the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden. He will continue as guest conductor at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, where he triumphed with a new production of Gounod’s Faust, conducting numerous revivals as well...
